Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 1st Edition Hardcover w/ Dust Jacket

Collectible copy, 1999 Scholastic hardcover, stated first American edition, first printing, first state (number line reads 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1, printing year 9/9; see photos, which show actual item), w/ dust jacket, not price-clipped. Dust jacket, now protected by removable mylar wrapper, has $17.95 price on front flap, raised silver lettering, and no number "2" on the jacket spine. Cover has green spine cloth with no number "2" and purple boards with diamond pattern. Red endpapers. Has the word "ancestor" rather than "descendent" at the bottom of p. 332. Would be like-new but for slight spine lean, a tiny chip at the top of the dust jacket, slight cumpling of top and bottom dust jacket spine, and a half-inch long white mark on the back free endpaper. Tight binding, no owner's name or other marks and no missing, torn, soiled, or dogeared pages. No bumping or bent corners. -- not revised yet
